Cassidy Welch receives College of Human Sciences scholarship

Cassidy Welch, who is studying Child, Adult, and Family Services, has received the Shierholz Family Non-Profit Internship Scholarship . Welch plans to complete an internship during the 2018 spring semester.

The College of Human Sciences at Iowa State University awards scholarships such as Welch's to support students completing unpaid internships or student teaching.

The scholarships help offset the cost of living for students as they complete career-building experience in the workplace before graduation.
