College of Human Sciences awards students scholarships for student teaching

The College of Human Sciences at Iowa State University has awarded scholarships to support students and their teaching experiences during spring 2017.

These scholarships provide support for students working without pay and help offset the cost of living for those completing their student teaching experiences away from home. The scholarship is funded through an anonymous gift made to the College of Human Sciences as part of the endowed deanship held by Laura Dunn Jolly, dean and Dean's Chair.

Mary Bethel, a senior in Elementary Education from Ames, IA (50014) is among the 29 students from the College of Human Sciences who have been awarded a scholarship to support their student teaching experience.
