Crow receives American FFA Degree

2017 Oct 5

Amanda Crow, majoring in Agriculture and Life Science Education at Iowa State University, is among the American FFA Degree recipients in 2017.

The American FFA Degree is awarded to FFA members who have demonstrated the highest level of commitment to FFA. These members will be recognized during the eighth general session of the 89th National FFA Convention and Expo.

Less than one percent of FFA members receive the award, making it one of the organization's highest honors. Recipients also receive a gold American FFA Degree key. Eligibility is determined by criteria including having received the State FFA Degree, completed a specified amount of hours in an agricultural education program, graduation from high school at least 12 months prior, and participation in community service.
