Elisabeth Burken receives College of Human Sciences scholarship

Elisabeth Burken, who is studying Kinesiology and Health, has received the College of Human Sciences Dean's Chair Unpaid Internship and Student Teaching Scholarship. Burken plans to complete an internship during the 2018 spring semester.

The College of Human Sciences at Iowa State University awards scholarships such as Burken's to support students completing unpaid internships or student teaching.

The scholarships help offset the cost of living for students as they complete career-building experience in the workplace before graduation.
