Erica Sutton Named 2015 GROWMARK Summer Intern

Sutton, of Maquoketa IA, was selected as one of fifty-seven interns from a nation-wide pool of agriculture students that are are exploring career opportunities at GROWMARK, Inc.The Animal Science major will be exposed to accounting, marketing, communications, and product and service-related activities.

Sutton joined a group of seven Iowa State University students from the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences who attended an orientation program at the GROWMARK corporate office in May and an agribusiness tour in June. Each intern completes a special project and delivers a presentation on that project in August.

According to Allison Stephey, GROWMARK university relations manager, "The program continues to be a key component in identifying and retaining top talent into the GROWMARK system. Students engage with industry professionals on important projects and have the opportunity to clarify career goals; while we get exposed to the most talented university students."
