Goedken attended national Ag Media Summit

Kristi Goedken, majoring in Agricultural and Life Sciences Education at Iowa State University, attended the annual Ag Media Summit in Snow Bird, Utah.

This national event, held in July, allowed students to participate in workshops tailored to communications, meet alumni, and network with communication professionals from agriculture-related industries.

In addition, Goedken and other members of the Iowa State Agricultural Communicators of Tomorrow (ACT) Club, were on hand to support alumni from the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences who received awards at the event. Betsy Freese received the Agricultural Communicators of Tomorrow (ACT) Honored Professional Award; Dr. Maynard Hogberg received the Livestock Publications Council (LPC) Headliner Award; Paul Queck received the American Agricultural Editors' Association (AAEA) Lifetime Achievement Award.
