Hannah Nation recognized as 2015 Iowa State University College of Human Sciences Student Sensation

Hannah Nation of Ogden, Iowa , has been named a College of Human Sciences Student Sensation at Iowa State University. Nation is a sophomore studying event management. The College of Human Sciences recognizes 15 young adults as the 2015 Student Sensations for their contributions to expanding human potential and improving people's lives.

As a future events manager, Nation is capable of running the show from start to finish. She’s also an active part of her Iowa State community, participating in numerous organizations and activities including Destination Iowa State, the Fashion Show, and Alternative Breaks. She’s been the stage coordinator for Varieties and a member of the National Events Marketing Committee. As a member of the Student Union Board, she served on committees for national and special events, Cyclone Cinema, Multicultural Awareness, and the Maintenance Shop. She’s now part of the executive team of the Student Union Board as co-director of Cyclone Cinema. She’s also an important part of the Fashion Show design committee.
