Hardeep Obhi awarded Ruth L. Kirschstein National Research Service Award Individual Predoctoral Fellowship

Hardeep Obhi of San Jose, California (95122), has been awarded the Ruth L. Kirschstein National Research Service Award Individual Predoctoral Fellowship from the National Institutes of Health.

Obhi is a graduate student in the Department of Human Development and Family Studies at Iowa State. As part of the fellowship, she will receive funding to help support her project entitled "Biopsychosocial Reserves and Dementia: Identifying Life-span Protective Factors."

The fellowship aims to enhance the integrated research and clinical training of promising predoctoral students who intend careers as physician-scientists or other clinician-scientists.
