Iowa State University Connect Four Learning Community names peer mentors for 2016-2017 academic year

Britney Williams has been selected to serve as a peer mentor for the Iowa State University Connect Four Learning Community for the 2016-17 academic year. Williams, who is from West Chicago, IL, is a studying Kinesiology and Health in the College of Human Sciences at Iowa State.

The Connect Four Learning Community helps newly enrolled students of color meet other students, adapt to college life, and succeed academically at Iowa State.

The Connect Four peer mentors enrich campus resources for students by giving advice, making suggestions, and providing support. Peer mentors also plan social opportunities, educational events, and study sessions for the learning community participants.
