Iowa State University Students Organize First 'Collegiately Creative' Conference

Students in the Iowa State University Event Management Club presented the first Collegiately Creative conference, April 16, 2016, in MacKay and LeBaron Halls on the Iowa State University campus. The conference is designed to empower entrepreneurship among Iowa State University students and connect them with successful entrepreneurs.

Student leaders who organized the conference include: Alyssa Doran of Altoona, IA, a junior in event management.

Organizers include students in the Iowa State University Event Management Club, who presented at the conference on April 16 on the ISU campus in MacKay and LeBaron Halls. The conference was designed to empower entrepreneurship among Iowa State University students and connect them with successful entrepreneurs.

Collegiately Creative's mission is to inspire and encourage creativity to benefit students' professional journey through hands-on activities and empowering speakers. The conference was an all-day event featuring speakers Danny O'Neill, Adam Benton, Melissa L. Jones, Mike Draper, Kelly Zugay, Andra Barkey, and Sunny Lenarduzzi.
