Kaylee Hahn of Ames, IA, is one of six outstanding graduates who received individual recognition during convocation at 2 p.m. on Friday, May 5 at Hilton Coliseum.

Hahn will be the college marshal, the highest college honor awarded to a student. She is graduating summa cum laude with a bachelor's degree in nutritional science, focusing on the pre-health professional and research option. A University Honors Program student and multi-semester dean's list recipient, she aims high - excelling in upper-level courses. Hahn shared discoveries with her peers as a teaching assistant and a laboratory research assistant. In addition to her academics, she served the Greek community and the College of Human Sciences in leadership and outreach roles. Hahn brought her positive outlook to local food pantries during weekly food distribution. She also was a faithful member of the Mary Greeley Medical Center's medical unit support team. In the fall, she plans to attend the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign to pursue a doctorate in nutritional science.
