Koppenhafer goes global in Costa Rica
2015 Jun 5
Megan Koppenhafer, majoring in Environmental Science at #IowaState, traveled to Costa Rica with the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences Study Abroad office for a spring break program.
This program takes students on a tour of locations throughout central and northwestern Costa Rica in order to observe tropical soils, tropical crops and their environmental impacts. At each site, students participate in in-depth discussions led by a combination of Costa Rican experts and the ISU faculty. But the experience isn't all work, students also visited one of Costa Rica's famous beaches, went river rafting and on a complete a rain forest canopy tour.
