2018 Mar 23

Emilie Larson from Granger participated in a study abroad experience with the College of Design at Iowa State University traveling to Prague, Czech Republic over spring break, March 9-17, 2018. A group of 21 ISU students majoring in Interior Design, Architecture, and Landscape Architecture traveled as part of their DSN S 546 Preservation & Cultural Heritage studio. While there, students were trained in national and international preservation processes and learned state-of-the-art technologies to survey, document, and analyze elements of historic property. Assistant Professor Diane Al Shihabi (Interior Design), and Associate Professor Mikesch Muecke (Architecture) co-created the course, and led the travel.
