Mary O'Brien among 13 Iowa State University students to attend the Midwest Regional Meeting of American Physician Scientists Association

Mary O'Brien of Waterloo, IA, is one of 13 Iowa State University students who attended the Midwest Regional Meeting of the American Physician Scientists Association, or APSA, in Iowa City on Jan. 13. O'Brien is studying Psychology at Iowa State.

The APSA is a student-led professional organization designed to address the training and career development needs of those pursuing a career as a physician and researcher. The Midwest Regional Meeting of the APSA is a professional development conference that takes place every year on an APSA affiliate medical school campus. Of the 13 students who attended, three are from the College of Human Sciences.
