Megan Talley receives award at College of Agriculture and Life Sciences Fall Convocation.

Megan Talley, graduating with a degree in dairy science from Iowa State University, was given the outstanding senior award at the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences December 19 convocation. This award recognizes an individual who encompasses efforts in service, leadership, and scholarship.

While at Iowa State, she has been active in the Dairy Science club, her church, Dairy Extension, and served as the President of Sigma Alpha Professional Sorority. Megan has served as a volunteer, been a teaching assistant, and participated in Science with Practice.

Trey Forsyth, 2016 president of CALS Council, said of Talley, "she is very well respected on campus by her peers, faculty, and staff; and possesses the traits and charisma of a true leader."

Awards are given by the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences Student Council (CALS Council) and presented at convocation each semester.
