Mikaela Lighty wins first place in the Business Idea Pitch Contest category at Iowa State University Entrepreneurship Showcase

Mikaela Lighty of Solon, IA, was honored with an award at the Entrepreneurship Showcase hosted by the Iowa State University College of Human Sciences.

Lighty, a junior in event management at Iowa State, was recognized with first place in the Business Idea Pitch Contest category Lighty worked alongside Anna Schulte, a senior in event management, to develop their business idea pitch.
