Rebecca Nellis inducted into Phi Tau Sigma Honorary Society

Rebecca Nellis of Fort Dodge, IA, was inducted into Phi Tau Sigma Honorary Society. Nellis is studying food science in the College of Human Sciences and the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences at Iowa State University.

Food scientists apply chemistry, biology, and physics to improve food quality, safety, and nutrition and to develop new food products.

Established in 1953, Phi Tau Sigma recognizes and honors the achievements of students and professionals in food science and technology. The society works to enhance and elevate the profession of food science and technology.
