Toben named 2016 Outstanding Summer Intern by Helena Chemical Company

Laura Toben was recognized by Helena Chemical Company as one of five student award winners for Outstanding Intern of the Year in four divisons across the company.

Toben, a senior in agricultural and life sciences education-communications at Iowa State University, was a 2016 winner in the midwest division. She worked as a Summer Sales and Marketing Agronomy Intern for the Unionville, MO Helena retail location. During her internship, Laura worked with growers in the Southern Iowa, Northern Missouri region, positioning the return-on-investment of Helena's AGRIntelligence services and proprietary products.

The 2016 Helena Summer Intern class was comprised of 59 students from 23 Universities across the country. The scholarship award is designed to encourage creativity and innovation among the intern team and assist with college expenses. Read more about the other recipients.
